If you needed a proof that EA Sports is actually working on NBA Live, there you just found one. YouTuber Chris Denker aka DenkOps posted an image on Instagram, and while it doesn’t tell much, it’s a confirm that NBA Live 18 is in the works and will be released in 2017.

The image below shows a profile shot of the Cleveland Cavaliers’ LeBron James and the Boston Celtics’ Avery Bradley is off in the distance, but you can tell it’s him.

EA Sports is back to basketball with Live 18 two years after releasing their most recent NBA title in 2015. The screenshot doesn’t have much clarity and some details hint to a work-in-progress stage, but basketball fans should be glad that another game could spur some competition with 2K’s NBA 2K series.

You should be able to try NBA Live 18 at the upcoming EA Play.
