SGO Weekly: F1 22, GRID Legends, & more!
F1 22 Reveals special livery and updated driver ratings
Codemasters and EA announced a sports livery update coming to F1 22. In the update, all teams including the new FIA world champions and Red Bull will receive various changes to vehicle bodywork, sponsors, color, and more. In addition, Codemasters released its third Driver Ratings update in collaboration with official Formula 1 experts. The latest ratings update sees overall improvements for drivers Nicholas Latifi and Sergio Perez. Lastly, players can enjoy a limited-time Día de Muertos livery ahead of the Mexico GP, starting this weekend until December 7.
GRID Legends announces new holiday content
This past week, Codemasters officially released the Enduring Spirit pack featuring a new multi-class endurance racing game mode for GRID Legends. New content features new cars, route updates, and both story and career events. Enduring Spirit introduces a new game dynamic where drivers compete as prodigy driver Lara Carvalho in a long-distance race format, putting their skills and endurance to the test on the iconic Fuji Speedway circuit. In addition, GRID Legends is hosting a free seasonal event for all players until November 6. Players can race through London’s dense fog using the Cobra Cup vehicles for a chance to win 5 Halloween-inspired vehicle patterns.
Blood Bowl 3 releases in early 2023
The game of fantasy football launches on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on February 23 of 2023. At launch, the game will feature 12 factions, including 4 playable for the first time in a Blood Bowl game. Each faction has its own unique characteristics and related content. In addition, fans can compete in single-player and multiplayer modes as well as experience more customization options than ever before.
Football Manager 2023 PS5 launch delayed
This week, SEGA and Sports Interactive revealed the PlayStation 5 version of Football Manager 2023 Console will not launch November 8 as planned. The delay comes due to unforeseen complications which have arisen during the submissions and approvals process.
