New content heads to Rocket League

Psyonix announced that the Ferrari 296 GTB hybrid sports car is available in Rocket League. Players can purchase the Ferrari 296 GTB Bundle in the Item Shop. The bundle features the Ferrari 296 GTB car, Ferrari 296 GTB Engine Audio, Ferrari 296 GTB Wheels, Assetto Fiorano Decal, and Ferrari Antenna. The Ferrari 296 GTB Bundle is available for 2000 Credits until September 6.

JoyCity announces Freestyle Football

Freestyle Football (FSF) is an online soccer game developed by JoyCity. Freestyle Football adopts a unique visual style, incorporating elements of street and art soccer. In addition, Freestyle Football allows players to show their individuality and charm. The new game features a familiar 5 vs 5 format, including an AI goalkeeper. Furthermore, individual players control one character instead of 11, as seen in most football games.

World Championship Boxing Manager 2

Ziggurat Interactive announced the release of World Championship Boxing Manager 2 for PC. This latest entry in the series offers players a business tycoon and boxing simulation experience. Over the course of the game, players hire trainers and recruit from a roster of boxers which includes former pro boxers Rocky Marciano and Sugar Ray Robinson. World Championship Boxing Manager 2 arrives on PC in Q4 2022. In addition, players can expect a console release in 2023 for Xbox One, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch.

Nexon launches KartRider: Drift cross-platform “Global Racing Test

Nexon’s kart racing party game, KartRider: Drift, began conducting a “Global Racing Test” in open beta format. The test started this week on Wednesday, August 31, and runs until Tuesday, September 6. The “Global Racing Test” brings players together from around the world with full cross-platform and cross-play support. Racers can choose to play on PC, mobile (iOS, Android), or console (PS4, Xbox One).

Session available for Pre-Order

With a release date planned for September 22, Session: Skate Sim is now available for digital preorder. The game is still available in Early Access on Steam (85% positive rating) and on Xbox Game Preview. Those interested can pre-order for Xbox, PlayStation, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.

GRID Legends comes to EA Play

As of this week, players can get in on GRID Legends via EA Play. GRID Legends lets players immerse themselves in new gameplay innovations, including the intuitive Race Creator, and ‘Driven to Glory’, an epic motorsport story with players competing for the GRID World Series against racing superstars. Legends also includes cross-platform multiplayer gameplay between all platforms and across a variety of modes – including Career Mode and more – for a faster route to connect with friends, while the ‘Driven to Glory’ Story Mode provides players with a single-player experience. In addition to the game’s in-race choreographer and unique NPC driver personalities, GRID Legends also features 130 routes and over 100 vehicles, from classic touring cars to big rigs, single-seaters, to electrics and hybrids.
