SGO Weekly: WrestleQuest delays, & more!

Legend Bowl now available

Legend Bowl is now available on all consoles PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. Originally developed by Javier Martinez, a veteran of the EA Madden development team, Legend Bowl offers a football game that provides real depth, complexity, and respect for the player’s time. Legend Bowl offers some of the deepest simulation elements seen within the genre and is packed with features. A spiritual successor to Tecmo Bowl, Legend Bowl mixes both retro and modern football aspects, making it the game to play for those who need to scratch the itch for deeply detailed sports simulation gameplay.

Need for Speed Unbound Volume 4 coming soon

Launching August 16Volume 4 celebrates 75 years of Porsche. The new content brings exciting new-themed events, cosmetics, and customizations as well as offers players the opportunity to earn the legendary fully electric Porsche Taycan Turbo S.

Volume 4 also ramps up both the intensity and rewards as players join the chase and push themselves to their limits in new Linkups, “Boosted” events, and Daily and Weekly Challenges for the chance to earn XP and sweet new rides. The latest drop in NFS Unbound’s series of post-launch updates introduces Speed Pass, bringing 75 ranks of new free cosmetics and customizations. In addition, the Legendary Custom Porsche 911 Carrera S (1997) is up for grabs for those that make it past rank 50.

WrestleQuest release date moved to August 22

Now long after our WrestleQuest review, Mega Cat Studios & Skybound Games announced the game would be delayed until August 22. The delay comes following a discovery in which players could lose their save progress when playing across multiple devices. The official announcement reads:

When performing final checks on one of our launch platforms, we discovered it was possible for players to lose their save game progress when playing WrestleQuest on multiple different devices

WrestleQuest will now be available on August 22 for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam for $29.99. In addition, the game will also be available for mobile via Netflix, included with all memberships.
