MLB The Show 19: Ted Williams and 8th Inning Program Available Now

This week, San Diego Studio (SDS) released a colossal content update for MLB The Show 19 Diamond Dynasty. This update includes over two dozen new cards (including Ted Williams), the new 8th Inning program, a new monthly rewards and Postseason cards, new moments and more. Here’s a complete breakdown of all the new content.

8TH INNING PROGRAM

Next, the 7th Inning Program is now open. Earn 300 points in the program to select one of the following Signature Series players from a choice pack: 99 Ted Williams, 99 Ernie Banks and 99 Johnny Bench. Below is a look at all three players’ attributes and card art.

After over six months, SDS has released Ted Williams, a popular card in Diamond Dynasty, but diehards are still clamoring for bigger names. Signature Series cards like Babe Ruth, Albert Pujols and Mike Trout, among others, have still not been released to this point.

Overall, Diamond Dynasty is welcoming 28 new legends and flashback cards. All of these cards are obtainable by either completing 8th Inning Program milestones, completing new moments, opening packs or buying them from the marketplace.

SIGNATURE CHOICE PACK

Additionally, you can now purchase Signature Series Choice Packs from the pack store. There is a limit of two per person, and each pack costs 35,000 stubs. New cards that can be found in the pack are 99 Walter Johnson, 99 Paul Molitor and 96 Matt Holliday.
