MLB The Show 23 Collector’s Edition Details and Tech Test Announced

Last night on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, it was announced that Hall of Famer Derek Jeter would be on the cover for the MLB The Show 23 Collector’s Edition. Now, MLB The Show 23 has announced the bonuses that come with those Collector’s Editions, as well as when players can playtest the game early.

MLB The Show 23 Collector’s Edition Details

There will be two Collector’s Editions for MLB The Show 23. Both versions will cost $99.99 and come with four days of early access. This means everyone who purchases these versions will be able to play the game starting March 24th.

The first version is called The Captain Edition. This version brings back the classic MLB The Show New Era cap. This version comes with all of the following:

It should be noted that the physical version of the game with this version is for the last-gen version of the game. There will be a code included for players to download the next-gen version of the game

The other Collector’s Edition is the Digital Deluxe Edition. This version does not include the Steel Book or New Era cap, but comes with extra Diamond Dynasty rewards. This version includes the following:

Tech Test

Along with the Collector’s Edition information, a technical test for MLB The Show 23 was also just announced. This technical test will start around 10 am PST on February 15 and last until 10 am PST on February 21. During this time, any player 18 or over in the U.S. and Canada with an internet-connected console can participate in the tech test. All you have to do is download the tech test for free from your console’s respective storefront.
