NBA 2K22 Post All-Star Update

Ja Morant- Memphis Grizzlies- 93 OVR (+1)

Ja Morant has been spectacular in his third season in the NBA. He is averaging career-highs in everything except assists. His season is drawing comparisons to Derrick Rose’s 2011 MVP campaign. Despite having competition in the MVP conversation, Morant has thrown himself firmly in a top four or five spot.

James Harden- Philadelphia 76ers- 92 OVR (+2)

Since joining the 76ers, James Harden has reminded everyone why he was an MVP. Joel Embiid and James Harden are a nightmare duo for NBA defenses. He has scored 25 or more in 4 out of 5 outings since joining Philly. They are second in the eastern conference behind the Miami Heat

Jayson Tatum- Boston Celtics- 89 OVR (+1)

The Boston Celtics had a rough go at the beginning of the season. Since then, they have seemingly found their footing and sit in the fifth seed in the eastern conference. It’s in large part to Jayson Tatum. Tatum is a gifted 3-level-scorer who is improving on the defensive end.

Kyrie Irving- Brooklyn Nets- 91 OVR (+1)

Kyrie Irving is a certified bucket. Despite his controversial season, Kyrie has still been playing phenomenally. He is one of the most skilled players to ever touch a basketball. This year, Irving is averaging an absurd 47.7 field goal percentage, making nearly half of all his shot attempts. There’s a good chance the Nets make the playoffs, but they’ll need Irving to make it a reality.
