Best FIFA 23 Players in Europe Set to Compete for $75,000 Grand Prize

This week, the eight best FIFA 23 players in Europe will face off for the eChampions League (eCL) trophy and their share of the $280,000 prize pool. The finals will take place June 7 in Istanbul, Turkey. The finals caps off a series of high stakes competitions that started out with over 1,000 players.

“EA SPORTS FIFA esports continues to offer players and fans unique and exciting ways to celebrate their love of football,” said Sam Turkbas, Sr. Director, Esports & Commissioner, Football Esports, Electronic Arts. “We look forward to closing out another successful season of the eChampions League, in Istanbul with a live audience, featuring epic Finals matchups on the virtual pitch”.

eCL Finals

The competitors will face off live in Turkey’s ESA Espor Arena. The finals will start with four competitors trying to avoid elimination in the lower bracket. Meanwhile, the top four seeded players will look to secure their spot in the semifinals in the upper bracket.

On top of the $75,000 grand prize, the winner will get an opportunity that money cannot buy. The champion will get to raise the eCL trophy live on the pitch during the UEFA Champions League Final on June 10. Both the champion and runner-up will also secure their spot in the FIFA 23 Global Series Playoffs.

There will be plenty for fans in attendance to do this Wednesday. Fans will be able to take photos with the UEFA Champions League trophy, as well as see UEFA Champions League winners Kaká and Ruud Gulli. These two legends will be in attendance to join the broadcast of the finals. Those viewing at home will be able to earn drops for FIFA 23 by linking their EA and Twitch or YouTube accounts.

Where to Watch

Matches will begin on June 7 at 3 pm CEST / 4 pm TRT / 6 am PT. The entire finals will be livestreamed on EA Sports FIFA’s Twitch channel and UEFA’s YouTube and TikTok channels.
