Fans of the EA Fight Night series and of boxing in general might have something to look forward to, as the development of a new boxing game called Round4Round Boxing is in the works.

Round4Round Boxing is a game that is currently in development, and will look to give boxing fans a unique gaming experience. The developers of Round4Round Boxing have touted that they are “dedicated to providing the best possible life like graphics and game play,” and will look to try to fill a major void in the video game market.

The Round4Round team is looking to release the first major boxing game in quite some time. The last major boxing game for consoles to be released were EA Fight Night Champion, which was released on March 1, 2011, and the mobile game Real Boxing, which was released in 2012 for iOS, Android and on PC. “Players & boxing fans worldwide have been waiting for a new boxing game for nearly a decade,” the Round4Round team has stated on their website, and they want to make sure that gamers don’t have to wait much longer for another boxing game.

A key part of the development process, according to the Round4Round boxing team, is to listen to feedback from boxing fans. The development team has wanted to make sure that they create a game that is just right for boxing fans. As part of this process, the Round4Round team has released screenshots of the game throughout its development to show off the product and to allow fans to give feedback. Check them out down below:

The development team has also announced a roster of over 40 professional boxers from both the past and present. Names such as Eric “Butterbean” Esch, Hector “Macho” Camacho, “Merciless” Ray Mercer, Kelly Pavlik and current WBA and WBO Heavyweight Champion Andy Ruiz have all been announced as playable boxers in the game. However, one big question is when the game will be released to the public. In a post on their Twitter account last week, the Round4Round team announced that due to “unforeseen circumstances,” the game will be released later than expected. Once it is released however, the game will be available for purchase on the Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC.
