The first big live content addition to MLB The Show 24 was released today in Diamond Dynasty. This new content will have players searching all over the mode for collectible eggs to unlock new rewards. On top of this, the second half of the first Ranked Seasons Program has arrived, along with a new event and new packs.
Egg Hunt Program
The Egg Hunt Program returns this year. This program is basically a large scavenger hunt, as players use clues in the program to find the 10 eggs hidden around Diamond Dynasty. Each egg found moves players one step further along the program. The clues for this year’s Egg Hunt Program are:
- There are 10 hidden eggs at this very moment. Complete the 5 moments accessible through the main menu.
- Start your Egg Hunt journey DOWN here!
- You’ll have to be sneaky competitive to discover this egg!
- Make sure one of these birds have more eggs in their own box score than yours!
- Rumor has it that the Chicken Man lays eggs!
- What goes well with eggs? Jelly beans! Exchange 15 jelly beans for this egg. Jelly beans can be found in The Show packs.
- Don’t trip during your egg hunt!

- All-Star Egg Hunts are a classic! Win a game of Classic Mini Seasons on All-Star difficulty.
- Conquering this Egg Hunt requires you to explore the furthest point in Diamond Dynasty! Capture the Orioles stronghold in the Egg Hunt Conquest map.

Ranked 1 Program Update
The second half of the Ranked 1 Program has been added into Diamond Dynasty. Up to this point, you could only get to the 75 point mark in the Ranked Seasons program. Now, you will be able to complete it all the way through the maximum 150 points. The new missions added today include solo ranked stats missions, co-op ranked innings played, and high difficulty ranked missions. The World Series reward pack is at 100 program points, and the new Fresh Start pack that was added into the game earlier this week is at the 150 point mark.
Opening Day Event
A new event has been added to celebrate MLB Opening Day. This event will have players compete in 3-inning games on All-Star difficulty. Players can use 2024 Flashbacks, Team Affinity S1: C1 cards, Live Series players, and Captain cards. 10 wins in this event will earn you 87 OVR Hyper Series LF Taylor Ward, while 20 wins will get you 92 OVR Hyper Series RP Bryan Abreu.
Packs and Collections
The next part of the Season 1 Collection is now available. Collecting 120 Season 1 cards will earn you 93 OVR All-Star Series SS Rich Aurilia. Aurilia is a brand new legend in Diamond Dynasty. This card is based on his 2001 performance, where he earned his lone All-Star game appearance while hitting .324/.369/.572 with 37 2Bs, 37 HRs, and an NL leading 206 hits.
In The Show Shop, there are two new free packs for all players to pick up. The first contains an 85 OVR Rookie Series CF Mookie Betts. The other is a free Millionaire pack. This pack contains 1:1,000,000 chance of getting a 1,000,000 stub voucher. According to the development team on their live stream Friday, one person has already redeemed one of these millionaire vouchers so far.
Chase Pack 2 is now available in 50 The Show Pack Bundles. The new Chase Pack player is 93 OVR Hyper Series LF Wyatt Langford. Langford is one of the most exciting rookies coming into this season, and is an early favorite to win AL Rookie of the Year.
The new Spring Chickens Choice pack has some really great cards in both the rare and base rounds. This pack costs 40,000 stubs, and has a 1:5 chance of getting the rare round. The cards in this pack are:
