Shredders Hits Xbox Game Pass

Xbox’s Indie showcase went pretty well for sports gamers with the announcement of WrestleQuest, a pixilated RPG-style wrestling game. Wow, what will they come up with next? However, WrestleQuest isn’t the only game for sports gamers to be excited for, Shredders has made its way to Xbox Game Pass today.

Shredders Hits Xbox Game Pass Day One

Xbox has released many new day-one independent games on Xbox Game Pass. Sliding into the line-up is FoamPunch’s Shredders, a new open-world snowboarding game. In Shredders, players take the role of an amateur snowboarder who starts working on sponsored snowboarding videos. Eventually, they find themselves trying to earn a spot in an exclusive invitational event.

FoamPunch stated that Shredders is its love letter to the sport and will feature an open-world with lifelike animations. This is great because we haven’t had a successful snowboarding title since SSX and 1080 Snowboarding. Developers have previously tried to spark the genre with open-world snowboarding games, i.e., Ubisoft’s Steep.

Shredders is out on Xbox Game Pass now, and you can also get the game via Steam

What Else Is Out On Game Pass?

On Wednesday, Xbox released two independent games on its subscription service. The first is Paradise Killer, a charming adventure mystery game. The second is Tunic, a Legend Of Zelda-inspired action-adventure game. So far, Tunic has received raved reviews, as critics call it one of the best games this year.
