F1 23 Championship Edition Details Revealed

Come and be a champion.

Early on Wednesday, Electronic Arts and Codemasters announced the next installment in the F1 racing series, F1 23. This year’s game introduces an all-new narrative-driven story called Break Point 2 and a new online feature called F1 World.

Formula 1 has reached its Breaking Point

Breaking Point 2 will take players through an intense story about drivers and their will to win. The return of F1‘s narrative-driven mode will include a new color encoding system to give cut scenes and gameplay a more realistic look.

“The return of Braking Point allows players to immerse themselves in a racing story, which provides a unique look at F1 alongside the authentic race features our players know and love,” said Lee Mather, Senior Creative Director at Codemasters.

“Our close relationship with the teams has allowed us to refine our handling model, adding greater realism to pad-play and implementing a new color encoding system used in film and TV creates a more true-to-life experience.”
