EA Sports Helping With 2020 NFL Draft

EA Sports NFL Draft

With the sports world in a constant state of flux due to the COVID-19 pandemic, leagues are starting to get creative in order to continue their business. With the NFL Draft scheduled for the end of April, EA Sports is getting involved to provide a unique experience for viewers this year.

EA Sports Showcasing Talent

For the 2020 NFL Draft, the league is putting together a virtual draft presentation. As a part of that presentation EA Sports, the developers behind Madden NFL, are going to create virtual moments. These moments will see the draft prospects walk out on stage to greet Commissioner Roger Goodell after they are selected.

Not much else is known about how this will work with teams as the picks are made or if it will happen immediately as picks are made. What is known is that this is sure to be one of the most talked-about NFL drafts — for better or worse — in history.

All we know is that they better showcase a player’s hug rating on screen as they walk across the stage. After all, what’s an NFL Draft without over-the-top bear hugs from draft picks.
