Madden 21 Patch 1.04 Released

Madden 21’s pre-order release date on August 25 did not go as smoothly as the company hoped which resulted in the team releasing an early patch updating the game. Updates were made to the game to help fix some of the bugs seen during EA Play Pro early release period.  These updates went live Wednesday, along with associated patch notes.

Madden 21 Patch Notes

One of the initial Madden 21 issues gamers noticed was players in The Yard disappearing from the field. Madden 21 resolved the issue so gamers can see players on the field during games. The Drive Change helmet made changes to correct the word “together”.

Early users of Madden reported multiple different crashes and desyncs when playing the game online. Madden has made the necessary changes to avoid more of those types of crashes to the game.

The Seattle Seahawks had a spelling mistake in their name that is addressed in this update.

Madden wanted to put a focus also on making some much-needed updates to their Ultimate Team. The company started with an initial patch to Madden Ultimate Team. This patch includes a fix that will resolve issues with features on the menu.

EA wanted to make some initial updates before the game gets released worldwide on August 28. It’s generally a good sign to see small, frequent patches in the early stages of a game release.  It means the dev team is watching feedback and is able to act quickly to make important fixes.  You can find the rest of the patch notes below:

Madden 21 will see a full release on August 28 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. For the latest updates on Madden 21, gamers can check out their website here.
