Madden 22 Celebrations and Taunts Guide

Madden 22 Celebrations

Another year of Madden means another year of competitive online play for many sports gamers. One of the staples of online play is letting your opponent know about it after a big play. Here’s a quick guide on how to showboat on your way to six and perform your celebrations once you get there in Madden 22.

How to Taunt Opponents in Madden 22

Once you break into the open field after an interception or have no defenders in sight after weaving through the defense, here’s how to rub a little more salt in the wound. In this year’s game, in order to trigger a running celebration, press and hold L2 + R2 + X button on PlayStation. For Xbox users, that’s LT + RT + A button. When you press these combinations, your ball carrier start showboating his way down the field.

You can also finish it off with an end zone dive. Do this with a simple combination of L2 + Square on PlayStation or LT + X on the Xbox.

How to do End Zone Celebrations

Don’t stop there. Once arriving in the end zone, the celebrations continue. Moving the right stick left, right, up, or down activates a touchdown celebration. These include signature celebrations, team celebrations, spiking the ball, and dances. Here’s a little breakdown below:

(This is the same for both PlayStation and Xbox).

Madden 22 is out across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC platforms. You can check out our Mike Straw and Chris Walker’s review of the game here.
