Madden NFL 22: Week 12 Ratings Update

Madden 22

With another week of NFL action in the books, Electronic Arts delivered another rating update. Let’s take a look at the winners and losers of the Week 12 update of Madden 22.

Take a look at the full list here

Week 12: Who’s Up

Dontrell Hilliard | HB | Tennessee Titans- 68 OVR (+3)

The 26-year-old Tulane product has stepped into the spotlight for Tennessee with Derrick Henry sidelined, and he took advantage of his opportunity on Sunday. Dontrell Hilliard rushed for 131 yards on 12 carries and ripped off a 68-yard touchdown run. The Madden Ratings Adjustor team has taken note of Hilliard’s big outing and is boosting his OVR rating as the Titans head into a Week 13 bye.

Joe Mixon | HB | Cincinnati Bengals- 92 OVR (+2)

Joe Mixon has been a monster in the stat sheet recently, and his Week 11 performance was more of the same. He took 28 carries for 165 rush yards and scored twice. Mixon has found the end zone in all but two games the entire season and is on a streak of four straight games with multiple touchdowns.

Derwin James | CB | Los Angeles Chargers- 92 OVR (+1)

The Chargers may have lost to the Broncos on Sunday, but Derwin James’ fantastic interception near the end of the first half was a bright spot for Los Angeles’ defense. James missed all of last season with an injury but the Chargers are happy he’s back to his old play-making ways. The Madden Ratings Adjustor team is giving James’ OVR rating a +1 boost this week as a result of his strong play.

Week 12: Who’s Down

Aaron Jones | HB | Green Bay Packers- 90 OVR (-2)

Aaron Jones’ return following a one-week absence with a knee injury was a bit underwhelming. The usually explosive star logged just 10 carries for 23 yards as the Packers seemingly eased Jones back into action for a few reps ahead of the team’s Week 13 bye.

Cam Newton | QB | Carolina Panthers- 71 OVR (-1)

Following a big Week 11 outing in his return as Carolina’s starting QB where he scored three touchdowns, Cam Newton ended up getting benched in Week 12 against the Dolphins. He was just 5 for 21 for 92 pass yards and two interceptions when the team pulled him. This is hardly indicative of the former MVP’s skillset.
