Maximum Football Devs Address Loot Box Concerns

Maximum Football is well on its way to early access, and with the prospect of the game being completely free-to-play, many questions have arisen from the community. So, to help address some of the major concerns players have with Maximum Football, developer Modus Games has addressed questions in its latest FAQ.

Maximum Football Address Concerns

Maximum Football will be a free-to-play experience, which will always catch gamers’ curiosity. When a game goes free-to-play, developers must find alternative methods to make the game profitable. Over the years, loot boxes have become the primary financial source of many F2P titles, which led to players asking Modus Games about the likely hood of the feature.

Q: Will the game have loot boxes?

A: No, Maximum Football will not include loot boxes or any kind of randomized content

While this might be music to the player’s ears, some fans are still skeptical about what kind of experience they will get if they are not pulling out their wallets.

Q: I don’t want to pay anything – will this game still be good?

A: Absolutely, Our goal for Maximum Football and moving to a free-to-play model is to ensure the game is available, playable, and most importantly, enjoyable for the widest possible audience – free or otherwise.

Maximum Football will come to early access sometime this year and will be released to consoles afterward. Modus Games has stated that more details about early access will be coming soon. You can wishlist the game on Steam here.
