Kazuyoshi Miura Joins eFootball PES 2021

Earlier this week, Konami signed Japanese football legend, Kazuyoshi Miura, to eFootball PES 2021. He is the oldest professional football player, starting his career back in 1986. Miura recently broke the world record for the oldest professional goal scorer, at 54.

Konami’s deal with Miura will allow fans to revisit his career with Brazilian club Santos F.C. as a part of the Iconic Moments series. This in-game campaign is along side many other Japanese players that Konami has obtained. In this campaign Miura’s legacy will live forever through the eFootball PES series.

“I am excited to announce this partnership with KONAMI and to be part of the eFootball PES franchise,” Miura Said. “I am humbled to have Konami recognize the many decades I have given to football by giving fans a way to relive and bask in those magical moments.”

Kazuyoshi Miura’s career started with Santos. He later returned to his home country in 1990. Miura went on to make hundreds of appearances for multiple clubs, also making 89 caps for the Japanese National team.
