Lightning and Hurricanes Highlight Week 5 of the NHL Player Gaming Challenge

The NHL Player Gaming Challenge continues this week, as two singles matchups will take place this week.

Week 5 of NHL Player Gaming Challenge

Week 4 of the NHL Player Gaming Challenge featured three matchups. Maple Leafs forward Zach Hyman defeated former Leaf and currently Flyers winger James van Riemsdyk in the first game. The duo of Alex Tuch and Ryan Reaves (Vegas) defeated Thatcher Demko and Adam Gaudette of the Canucks in the second match, and Blues teammates Colton Parayko and Robert Thomas defeated Victor Mete and Nick Suzuki (Montreal) in the third and final game.

Week 5 of the Player Gaming Challenge will feature two games. In the first match, Sabres defenceman Brandon Montour will face Devils goaltender Mackenzie Blackwood. The first game of the week will take place on Thursday at 5 PM EST.

The second game of the week will feature two players who are on playoff-bound teams. Hurricanes forward Warren Foegele will face Lightning center Anthony Cirelli in the second match, and that game will tale place on Saturday at 3 PM EST.
