Madden NFL 24 Adds Major New Feature to Franchise Mode – Full Patch Notes

Madden 24

As the NFL season enters the playoffs, Madden NFL 24 continues to get updates. Today, another title update came to the game. This update brought gameplay updates, stability improvements, as well as a major new feature to Franchise mode that fans have been dying for.

Franchise Crossplay

The biggest part of today’s update is the addition of the Franchise Cross Play Live Beta. This addition allows Cloud Franchise leagues to now include users from all platforms that support the feature. These platforms are PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. This new feature can be implemented in leagues that already exist. However, the developers do highly recommend that you start a new league for Crossplay. This feature is still in a Live Beta format, so the team may need to disable the feature, which would affect those leagues implementing it.

The second big update today increased the fatigue for defenders who are not dedicated pass rushers when they are blocked by pass blockers who are larger than them. This fixes an exploit where blitzing DBs could repeatedly engage with blockers who are much larger than they are with no penalty. Now, if a defender has Power or Finesse Move ratings below 70 and engage with a blocker who outweighs them by 90 lbs or more, the defender will suffer a significant penalty to their stamina.
