Another week, another MLB The Show 22 Diamond Dynasty content update. This update includes a new Nike City Connect jersey program, a new BR program, and the next Headliners set.
MLB The Show 22 Content Update
Houston Astros City Connect Program
The next Nike City Connect jersey program features the Houston Astros “Space City” jerseys. This program is laid out similar to the previous ones, where players will complete moments and parallel XP missions to progress the program. The rewards for the program includes 1 The Show pack, an 85 overall Veteran Michael Brantley card, and the Houston Astros Nike City Connect profile icon, bat skin, and jersey. Collecting the jersey rewards 15,000 XP towards the Faces of the Franchise program.
Conquest Map
A new conquest map has been added for the Faces of the Franchise program. The Faces of the Franchise East map rewards 2 prospect packs, stubs, as well as 30,000 XP towards the Faces of the Franchise program.
Battle Royale Program
The second BR program has started with three new legend cards for players to chase. At 90 program points, players will earn a 92 overall All-Star Ron Santo card. At 100 program points, players can choose either 92 overall Postseason Orel Hershiser, 92 overall All-Star Jason Giambi, or one of the bosses from the first BR program.
The 6th Headliners set packs have arrived. The new headliner is 92 overall 2nd Half Vida Blue.
The only piece of content remaining on this week’s schedule is the return of the Moonshot event on April 21st. This event pits common pitchers against any hitters in the game at Coors Field. April 21st will also kick off double XP for the Faces of the Franchise program.
