MLB The Show 23 Celebrates Kenley Jansen’s Milestone with new Content

Season 2 of Diamond Dynasty in MLB The Show 23 continues to chug along in its second week. A new batch of content has dropped, adding even more content to the game. There is also a new card that celebrates a player reaching a historic milestone.

May Topps Now

The next set of May Topps Now players have arrived. This starts with the new Captains for the May Topps Now Program players. These two new 92 OVR captains are Reds SP Wade Miley and Cardinals RF Tyler O’Neill. These captains will boost all of the May Topps Now cards found in the program.

We also got several new Topps Now cards to go along with these new captains. These new Topps Now cards are:

To close out the May Topps Now program this week, there is the brand-new Milestone CP Kenley Jansen card. This card commemorates Jansen getting his 400th career save earlier this week. This new 99 OVR card is in immediate contention of being the best closer in the entire game!

Kaiju: Part II Event

The second part of the Kaiju Series event is now underway. The lineup restrictions for this event have changed a little bit. Now, players can use Kaiju series cards, as well as West or East division cards from either Set 2 or the Core set. 10 wins in the event will earn you 95 OVR Kaiju RF Joe Carter, while 20 wins gets you 97 OVR LF Luis Gonzalez. Wins in this event will also still earn you some progress towards the Kaiju Series Program.

New Packs

The majority of this content drop was the new packs available in The Show Shop. The first new pack is the Captains Choice Pack Set 2. This pack features 8 95 OVR Captain cards and sells for 30,000 stubs. Players are limited to three of these packs. This pack includes:

The Alter Ego Pack 2 is also now available in The Show Shop. These packs go for 50,000 stubs, are limited to three per player, and have a base and rare round. The new Incognito series cards in this pack are:
