To build up to the release of Pro Skater 1 and 2, which will happen on September 4, new skaters have been added to the roster. Skateboarders Nyjah Huston, Leo Baker, Leticia Bufoni, Aori Nishimura, Lizzie Armanto, Shane O’Neill, Riley Hawk and Tyshawn Jones have been officially been announced for Pro Skater 1 and 2.

“Modern-day skateboarding originated from a generation of skaters who grew up playing the original Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater games,” said Michelle Bresaw, Vice President of Product Management and Marketing at Activision. “The world-class pro skaters we’re adding to this remaster took the tricks and combos from the video game and made them possible in real life. We’re proud that the remaster will represent the skate culture landscape today with a diverse roster of skaters that will appeal to any gamer.”

Activision also made it clear in their announcement that even though some of these skaters have previously appeared in past Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater games, this will be the first time these individuals will grind, ollie and kickflip in the first two games of the franchise.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 is already available for pre-order for the Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC through the Epic platform. Those who pre-order the game digitally will have access to the ‘Warehouse Demo‘ that will drop on August 14.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater’s 1 and 2 will be available in three editions: the standard edition ($39.99 USD), the digital deluxe edition that includes unique content and in-game gear ($49.99 USD) and the collector’s edition that includes the digital deluxe version and a limited-run Birdhouse deck ($99.99 USD).
