Last year, Hot Wheels cars returned to Forza Horizon 5 as the game’s first major DLC post-launch. Playground Games are shifting gears and introducing an all-new rally cars career mode to its open-world racing game—Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure races to Xbox consoles and PC on March 29.

Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure Details
Taking place in the rugged landscape of Sierra Nueva, players can build rally cars, join one out of three rally teams and compete in Horizon’s most thrilling routes ever. In addition, ten new vehicles will be added to the game along with new customizable options.
In Playground Games’ teaser trailer for its upcoming expansion, we get a brief look at some of the action. Not much is revealed in the trailer, but having more content in Forza Horizon 5‘s bustling Mexican landscape is always welcomed.
The Future and Success
If you haven’t jumped into Forza Horizon 5‘s stunning recreation of Mexico, now is a great time. Since its launch in 2021, the game has gained over 15 million players and has won multiple awards from many outlets.
After the stellar launch of Playground Games’ racer, many notable developers have left the studio to form Maverick Games. This new studio is in the process of creating its first open-world game for PC and consoles.

While losing this many talented developers is unfortunate for Playground Games’ and the Forza Horizon series; we hope that the franchise can continue to bring the same quality to their products in the future.
