Forza Motorsport has won another category at this year’s Game Awards. Turn 10’s Racer has won the show’s Innovation and Accessibility Award, and now the game has picked up the Best Sports/ Racing Game.
Forza Wins Big at The Game Awards
Forza Motorsport has won the Best Sports/ Racing Game at The Game Awards 2023. The game beat out some really good racing games like F1 23 and Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged. In addition, Turn 10’s game beats EA Sports’ biggest football title yet, EAFC 24.
The overall Forza series isn’t a stranger to massive wins at The Game Awards. In 2021, Motorsport’s festival-theme counterpart, Forza Horizon 5, won three awards. This included Best Audio Design, Innovation and Accessibility Award and Best Sports/ Racing Game.
However, when it comes to Forza Motorsport, Turn 10 focused on the true beauty of racing. The game features a realistic damage and weather system, along with realistic track wear and tear.

“Overall, Forza Motorsport is a fun racing game. Each car feels enjoyable once you learn its nuances and the tracks, albeit too similar a feeling once you get racing more, all look incredible. It’s just a disappointment it comes with a run-of-the-mill career mode that doesn’t keep you wanting to play for enjoyment but more a feeling of requirement.”
