Leaked Image of Forza Motorsport Surfaces Online

We last saw Forza Motorsport during Xbox’s Developer_Direct earlier this year. Since then, Xbox has kept its next racing game well under wraps from searching eyes. However, a leaked image from a recent Forza Motorsport playtest has surfaced, giving us our first in-game look.

Where did the Forza Motorsport Leak Come From?

The leaked image comes from a Reddit user named “Tryyton.” The gaming news site Insider Gaming contacted the user to confirm the image was real. According to Tom Henderson of Insider Gaming, the image is from a playtest of Forza Motorsport and has been shared in a private discord server.

The last piece of news I can give you on this leaked screenshot is that Insider Gaming confirmed that the image was taken on February 9, 2023, which was a few weeks after Xbox’s Developer_Direct. So, what do you think of the leaked screenshot of Forza Motorsport?

What to Expect from Motorsport

Graphical Fidelity

Forza Motorsport‘s assets, materials, and shadders have been built from the ground up. Motorsport will run at 4K, 60 frames per second, and will utilize ray-tracing capabilities to enhance paint and light behaviors.

In this year’s game, damage and dirt build-up will be unique to your racing experience. The developers explained this as your car’s condition tells the story. Dirt accumulation, chipping, and directionality will affect your car’s appearance after a race.

Sound

Similar to the graphics in Turn 10’s newest racer, the sound has been reworked from the ground up. This is the first game to be mixed natively for Windows Sonic and Dolby Atmos. The developers explained how changing or modifying your existing car parts affects how your vehicle sounds.

In addition, new features, such as a regional track announcer system and tire and suspension audio improvements, will bring a new level of immersion to Forza Motorsport.

Tracks

Turn 10 promises fan-favorite tracks will return to the game and include five all-new locations. The one mentioned in the showcase was Kyalami. This track is located in South Africa and will feature immense detail. Through the latest Xbox consoles, Turn 10 can produce up to ten times more detail than previous generations. This includes vegetation, trees, vibrant track life, and physically-based lighting.

So far, these are the tracks that have been confirmed:

Forza Motorsport is still slated to come out in this year for Xbox Series X|S and PC.
