Romelu Lukaku Becomes Newest UFL Ambassador

Romelu Lukaku Becomes Newest UFL

On Tuesday, the UFL Twitter page announced another ambassador for its upcoming debut football title. This time, it’s Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku. Earlier this year, Strikerz Inc. announced that Oleksandr Zinchenko and Roberto Firmino were the first two players licensed in UFL. So far, we know that these players will be featured in the game with their full likenesses and will continue to promote UFL through their social media accounts.

UFL is amazing. I’ve been following the news around the game for quite some time, and I like their philosophy and approach to game development. I can’t wait to see what Strikerz Inc. will bring to gamers and football fans when it comes out.” – said Romelu Lukaku.

Since Electronic Arts have recently extended its deal with Lukaku’s current club, Chelsea, I don’t think we will see this team in UFL. However, Strikerz Inc. has been busy announcing its (now) six licensed teams for the upcoming football game.

Current List of UFL Licensed Clubs

As of now, we don’t know the specifics of the deals with these clubs. We can only speculate that these clubs’ names, logos, and stadiums will be in UFL at launch.

UFL Gameplay Reveal

Strikers Inc. has provided non-stop minor updates on its upcoming football game, but fans are ready to see official gameplay. Earlier this week, the UFL Twitter page has announced that its gameplay reveal will be on January 27, 2022. Fans are hopeful that this game has the potential to rival FIFA and continue to push back against EA’s predatory microtransactions with its #fairtoplay campaign.
