Pro Clubs Will FINALLY Feature Cross-Play in EA Sports FC 24

Over the last few months, Pro Clubs fans have demanded answers from EA Sports about the absence of cross-play in FIFA‘s team play mode. Fans have created hashtags and posted their concerns on Twitter to get the publisher’s attention. Thankfully, as we approach the new EA Sports FC 24, EA Sports have officially announced that same-gen cross-play will be coming to its newest game.

Cross-play in Pro Clubs is coming to EA Sports FC 24

The news about cross-play in Pro Clubs broke during EAFC24‘s live stream. EA Sports announced on the games website that players can enjoy the feature if they have the same console generation.

“Connect and compete with more friends via cross-play in Clubs and control your footballing destiny with new features in Manager and Player Career.”

The official EAFC24 website also confirms that the Nintendo Switch version of the game won’t have any cross-play capabilities.

Having same-gen cross-play makes sense because the current generation of consoles uses Hypermotion technology. The past-gen consoles still use the older gameplay engine, so this would create a conflict in the overall gameplay.

What else is coming to Pro Clubs?

Besides cross-play, nothing new has been announced regarding Pro Clubs in EA Sports FC. However, the official site confirms that Volta will be a part of the mode again, and there is a new playoffs system for Clubs Seasons.

Nevertheless, EA Sports is set to announce more about the modes in EA Sports FC 24 later in pitch notes. For more, make sure you stay tuned to Sports Gamers Online.
