The last couple of months have been a rollercoaster of emotions for fans waiting to hear the official release date of AEW: Fight Forever. Last month, Tony Khan told fans during an AEW event that the game was finished, and they are awaiting an official release date. And just last week, fans could preload the new game via the Xbox App, which made fans speculate that an announcement what coming soon. Well, the wait is over. Yuke’s has finally announced that AEW: Fight Forever will be released on June 29, 2023.

AEW: Fight Forever is coming this summer

On the AEW Games’ Twitter page, Yukes announced that its next wrestling game will be coming out this summer. The announcement trailer featured Kenny Omega, and he reminded fans that Yukes was making an arcade experience that you can pick up and play.

AEW: Fight Forever will be a different experience compared to other wrestling games like WWE 2K. It will take on more arcade-ish gameplay and will focus more on the fun factor. WWE 2K‘s gameplay has become more simulation-based, but Yuke’s game will be simplified and similar to old-school wrestling titles.

Developed by acclaimed wrestling game developer Yuke’s, AEW: Fight Forever is the first video game officially licensed by All Elite Wrestling. The best of the best from the AEW talent roster means players can look forward to playing as some of the most legendary wrestlers to enter the ring plus all-new, high-flying AEW talent! AEW: Fight Forever combines nostalgic, arcade-wrestler feel with innovative AEW finishers and tandem offense moves!

AEW: Fight Forever will release on June 29 and will be available for PS5, PS4, Switch, Xbox consoles, and PC.
