AEW: Fight Forever Stadium Stampede Is Coming With Many Other Planned DLC Packs

The initial response to this game was not great, but that could be about to turn around. AEW: Fight Forever was released on June 29 with many criticising the lack of modes. Today Yukes gave the fans a teaser for what looks to be an extremely fun Battle Royale mode. Here at SGO, we said that Fight Forever is almost ready for the main event. Modes like this may be able to tip the balance, with it being free for all to download when it’s available.

Stadium Stampede is not the only DLC coming

Stampede will be a Battle Royale, including 30 wrestlers fighting in a surprisingly big stadium. Not only will you be fighting but you’ll be using a multitude of weapons like golf carts, baseball bats, and horses. Yes, I said you will be able to ride horses. From the trailer, it looks like it could be multiplayer, so we may be getting 30-man online fights. That sounds insane.

There is no release date right now for this content which is a shame. Though, AEW Fight Forever has a slew of other DLC planned to be rolled out over the next few months. Keith Lee, The Bunny, Hook, and Danhausen, as well as two new minigames, are all going to be unleashed with each pack. Considering the criticism of this game’s price, it may be frustrating to see they will be $11.99 each. You can buy the season pass for $29.99, but this will be a gamble if it’s worth it in the long term. Evil Uno previously stated that Fight Forever would be like No Man’s Sky in how it updates continually over time. So expect a lot more DLC packs to come, which may make the season pass a good idea. Although, be careful, it’s possible they will do season passes each “season”.
