The SGO Press Pass returned later this week, and our talented panel had loads to say about MLB The Show 24. So many news stories came out during our brief hiatus, but one of the more interesting topics was the lack of information on the game’s Road to The Show mode.

No Road to The Show news…yet

Brandon, Mike, and I started discussing some of the newest features of the upcoming baseball game. Our MLB expert, Brandon Satterwhite, has recently released a very successful and detailed video on the game’s career mode, Road to The Show.

Now, with San Diego Studio’s baseball game approaching its March 19th release date, not much is known about what updates are coming to RTTS. Unsurprisingly, this left Brandon shocked on our broadcast.

“We still haven’t heard about Franchise mode; we haven’t heard about Road to The Show; we haven’t heard about presentation and commentary,” Brandon stated. “There’s just a lot we haven’t heard about yet. So, it’s a little weird that that seems to be holding a lot back- or it’s going to be a rough year.”

San Diago Studios didn’t bring many updates to MLB The Show‘s gameplay, which leaves us in a position to question the developer’s integrity.

Because the company has been so tight-lipped about many of its flagship modes, it’s hard to be a bit worried about the overall product. During the podcast, I felt Brandon’s frustration and worry, so I asked him if he was nervous about MLB The Show 24.

Curtis: Brandon, are you nervous about MLB The Show 24?

Brandon: I am very nervous. I’m trying to keep an open mind- baseball [my] favorite sport, [I’m] excited for the season, but I am nervous. There’s a few things that I wanted to see this year; I would have figured that we would have some sort of tease [of Road to The Show] at this point.

The game doesn’t release until March 19, so there is loads of time for the California-based studio to produce something that the fans can be excited about.

You can check out the SGO Press Pass every other Tuesday at 8 pm EST.
