More Details on EA Sports College Football is Headed Our Way

Ever since EA Sports announced the return of their College Football series, fans have been eagerly waiting for more information to be revealed. While some information has been revealed so far, there is still a great deal of mystery surrounding the game’s return. Now, the wait may be coming to an end next week.

Monday Night Football

According to Brandon Marcello of 247Sports, EA Sports is expected to release an update next week on the most anticipated sports game release of 2024. This update will coincide with the College Football Playoff National Championship Game between the Michigan Wolverines and the Washington Huskies on Monday night.

The report does not say specifically what this update will include. The latest information we have about the game suggested it was still slated to release in Summer 2024. If that is still the case, then a potential release date could very well be part of Monday’s update. It would also be exciting to get some images and screenshots of what the game will look like.

The return of the College Football video game seems to be full-steam ahead. There was some concern last year following a lawsuit against EA Sports concerning their plans for compensating players for being in the game. However, last month the lawsuit was dropped, and development was moving forward.

We also got news last month on the jerseys and helmets that schools were submitting to EA Sports to be included in the game. EA Sports asked the schools to be sorted into categories. The first categories were those options that were the most important to be included in the game at launch. The later categories featured those that could be added later as DLC.

If the National Championship wasn’t enough excitement for Monday night, the possibility of news on the College Football game is sure get people hyped up. We will make sure to keep you updated on any news that drops on the game going forward.
