Madden Bowl Day 1 Update

With group 1 and 2 decided, the Madden Bowl heads in to Day 2 with some big games left to play.

EA’s first major Madden tournament of the calendar year – and second in the Madden Championship series – already sees four of the competitors head home after some interesting results.

Spotmeplzzz was the whipping boy of Group A, and a couple of his defeats were bordering on blowout territory. Los is unlucky not to progress, despite having the same number of wins and Skimbo and Serious Moe. It was the 29-13 defeat to Skimbo that looks to have cost Los his spot in the quarter finals.

Group B, on the other hand, was handled comfortably by Boogz, with Young Kiv progressing despite only 1 win.

Day two sees Group 3 and 4. A lot of focus will be on Problem, to see how much is left in those old legs, but group 3 is up first. (Update: Trueboy took the first game 28-0 over Jet Steele)
