This week, EA Sports sent out a preliminary email to players with accounts impacted by the Franchise save issue during the Madden 23 season. The email provides an update on invites for the Madden 24 closed beta as well as shares some additional information about Commissioner Tools.

Those who received the first email can expect to receive a single-use code for the Madden 24 closed beta. The codes send automatically to the same email in June, prior to the start of the beta. For those who receive it this way, there will be no need to sign up for a code or for the beta through any web portal or additional offer. EA Sports goes on to note the Closed beta is only available in the U.S. and Canada. In addition to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, the closed beta will also be available on EA app and Steam.

Additionally, EA’s email notes players who received the notice this week via email will automatically be sent a code, and any additional sign-ups from future offers will be cross-checked and discarded prior to sending out invites. So no double dipping for codes.

Commissioner Tools

In addition to announcing the closed beta, EA promises the team has been expediting work to give franchise commissioners more customization settings. The goal in Madden 24 is to deliver more player control over the leagues. The developers have taken feedback from Franchise players and community experts to generate and prioritize several new settings for the upcoming game. EA plans to unveil plenty more specifics as we get closer to the launch of  Madden 24.
