Last week, Codemasters and Electronic Arts officially revealed F1 23 with a new trailer and some details about the game. While the F1 developer listed some of the game’s newest features, it didn’t go in-depth about what makes F1 23 better than last year’s game. That is all about to change; On Wednesday, Codemasters outlined the game’s deep dives, and when we will learn more about the new features coming to its racing game.

We've got lots of news to share about #F123 in the coming weeks 📰

That starts tomorrow, with a detailed look at some of the biggest gameplay features to expect at launch 🔥 pic.twitter.com/Ys5wtXWivS

Upcoming F1 23 Details

Starting tomorrow, Codemasters will roll out the red carpet for F1 23. First up will be a gameplay deep dive where we can expect to see the new car upgrading system. Codemasters’ latest game is set to introduce Tech Points, which can be used to upgrade your car’s attributes.

In addition, we can expect to see more gameplay features that improve the racing and overall experience.

Another significant event will happen later this month with the deep dive of Break Point 2 and F1 World. Both modes seem to be the meat and potatoes of F1 23 and will be where most players spend their time.

Break Point Returns after a year’s absence, and judging by the trailer, it is going to be the most intense narrative story Codemasters has ever made. On the other side, F1 World is a brand new feature that brings everything racing under one umbrella that F1 fans can call home. Not much is known about F1 World, but we are excited to hear more.

Codemasters will round out May and June with a few events involving content creators and detailing other features before launch.

F1 23 will release on June 16, 2023, and will be available on PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
