During Xbox and Bethesda’s showcase, Turn 10 showed a trailer for the newest installment in the Forza Motorsport series. Forza Motorsport was first announced at an Xbox Showcase in 2020, but news on the game has been scarce. However, racing fans can hop in the driver’s seat when Forza Motorsport releases in Spring 2023.

Turn 10 showed off its newest racer with a beautiful new trailer highlighting some new features coming to the Motorsport series. The trailer focuses on Turn 10’s all-new built-in ForzaTech engine that takes the series to a new level. With ForzaTech, Motorsport is enhanced with ray-tracing and an overhaul to physics.

Forza Motorsport’s Newest Feature

In addition to the all-new ForzaTech engine, tire and fuel management is the newest feature to hit the series. This feature will add another layer to car customization. Paired with ray-tracing, Forza Motorsports’ cars will have more detail than ever. Not many details were revealed in the gameplay trailer, but I’m sure we will learn more about the game closer to launch.

Forza Aims to Continue Success

It’s no secret that Microsoft struck big with Forza Horizon 5 last year. Playground Games’ racer hit over 4.5 million players 24 hours after the game’s launch. In addition to the massive player count, Forza Horizon 5 won the Best Sports/ Racing game at last year’s Game Awards. The game also wowed us here at Sports Gamers Online, so much so that we named the game our SGO’s Game of The Year.

Forza Motorsport is shaping up to carry the success of Xbox’s beloved racing series. As more news, trailers, and features about the game are announced, we will make sure to keep you informed. Until then, keep it locked with Sports Gamers Online.
