Over the last few years, many new football games have popped up to challenge FIFA‘s gaming throne. For years, EA’s football game was never appropriately challenged by an outside rival. The closest one was Pro Evolution Soccer, which Konami later re-branded into eFootball, and it’s still trying to make a comeback. However, games like UFL, GOALS, and now Man of The Match are hitting the gaming scene to create their own football experience.
Man of The Match: Welcome to the Football-verse
Man of The Match allows players to scan their faces into the game and play as footballers or managers. In addition, players can also be commentators, assistant coaches, and scouts.
Starting the game, you’ll be able to scan your face, capturing every little wrinkle you have with your personal mobile device, and then embed it into the game. Then, you’ll need to choose your role; you can play as a player or as a manager (or both!), and join other human avatars, just like yourself, in the most immersive football video game ever to exist!
The game will be similar to the actual sport, with football associations on each continent and national teams. Players will have the chance to win real money by competing and hitting their achievements.
Kickstarter
Man of The Match offers many exciting features, and the game currently has a Kickstarter to help fund its release. On the project page, you will find a video of MOTM‘s CEO, Gilad Mayer, explaining the game’s overall vision. The video is about ten minutes, so sit back and enjoy an exciting new football project.
Lastly, Man of The Match will be available for consoles and PC. Currently, the game has a release year of 2025, so there’s still loads of development ahead. To pledge for the Man of The Match Kickstarter, click here.

This article really got me excited about the new soccer game – Man of The Match. Never did I think I could put my face into the game of soccer and experience it in such a realistic way. It’s quite interesting that players can participate in many different roles, from players to coaches and even commentators. And this is combined with the opportunity to win real money through competitions. https://techtoroms.com/
I just came across this game and its looking interesting would love to see a football manager Fifa hybrid but what caught my eye was this the
“Players will have the chance to win real money by competing and hitting their achievements.”
What that means is there will have to be money going into the game before any money comes out and my worry is we are just going to see a Ultimate team style game with online leagues and if it doesn’t take off like the develope hopes it could end up being a low player base game so i hope there is alot of offline features and game play
