EA Sports continued its deep dive series of EA Sports FC 24 with its breakdown of the matchday experience. The ex-FIFA publisher tends to change cut scenes and enhance the overall presentation of its football game every year. Of course, this year is no different.

EA Sports FC 24 Matchday Experience Deep Dive

Similar to Madden 24, EAFC 24 will use the new SAPIEN technology to replicate player body types. Players will notice the difference in footballers’ body types, making them more realistic and recognizable.

Hypermotion V Insight

In FIFA 23, Hypermotion 2 brought new tactical overlays that gave the players details about what was going on during the matches. This year, EA Sports updated Hypermotion V to provide more tactical breakdowns like player fatigue levels and pass completion.

This feature is my favorite because it breaks down the match in so many ways. Players can use this information to make strategic decisions to get the best outcome in a game.

New Camera Angles

During the deep dive, EA Sports showed off its new gameplay camera in EA Sports FC 24. It’s a mix between the dynamic camera setting and tele broadcast. This camera angle will be familiar if you’ve played any previous FIFA titles.

However, one of the more exciting changes is the new referee point of view camera angle. Last week, we heard rumors of a possible first-person camera coming to EA Sports FC 24, but many expected it to be from the player’s perspective. Unfortunately, that is not the case. However, when players receive yellow cards or a foul, there’s a chance that a cut scene will take place from the referee’s point of view.

While this isn’t what many fans expected, I think this feature looks great, and it’s a nice touch to the overall match experience.

Check out the full deep dive for everything coming to the matchday experience in EA Sports FC 24.
