We are days away from the kickoff of Summer Game Fest. The lineup of partners has been revealed, and it contains a laundry list of developers. Summer Game Fest 2022 will begin June 9. Host Geoff Keighly stated that there are more names to come. Sony has already set the stage with their June 2 State of Play.
This year's #SummerGameFest will feature events, activities and updates for fans from more than 30 partners, with more to be announced.

Summer Game Fest 2022 Lineup
As expected, there are some heavy hitters in the lineup. Xbox, Square Enix, Sony, and Activision will appear at Summer Game Fest. Xbox will have a collaboration with its recent acquisition Bethesda. However, there is a chance Forza, or other sports titles could be shown.
In addition to these big names, Electronic Arts and Take-Two Interactive are scheduled to make appearances as well. EA has already lit the fuse with the plethora of Madden news that has come out.
However, it has been relatively quiet outside of Madden. Besides last year’s announcement of a new NCAA Football title and the new Skate in development, many EA projects have been nothing but rumors, like potentially reviving the Fight Night franchise. NBA Live has not received a new installment since NBA Live 19 in 2018. Now would be a great idea to revive NBA Live.
Take-Two interactive has been at work on NBA 2K23. However, it is unlikely that it would be at Summer Game Fest. 2K has the chance to deliver a football title now that EA no longer holds the monopoly on NFL-Licensed titles.
There are plenty of opportunities for sports titles to be shown at Summer Game Fest 2022.
