Madden 23 on PC won’t have the same experience as those on the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 (PS5).
Based on the requirements that were revealed, it seemed as though it would be another year where the game on PC would lag behind that of the current-gen consoles. When asked directly, an EA Sports Spokesperson confirmed that the game will be on-par with the last-gen versions.
“PC players will have an experience consistent with Xbox One and PlayStation 4,” the spokesperson said.
As far as what those differences are, it’s been confirmed by EA Sports that the new FieldSENSE gameplay features will only be available on the Xbox Series X|S and PS5 versions of the game. Other gameplay differences weren’t specifically mentioned when talking with the EA spokesperson.
It was said, however, that bringing the full experience to PC players was still a focus for the future of the series.
Madden 23 launches worldwide on August 19. Those who preorder the All Madden Edition of the game or have an EA Play membership can play three days earlier on August 16.

I play on console so i really am sorry for all of you people who have to suffer with the goofy ahh ps1 graphics of this possibly good game that was sh#t on by EA for pc gamers i leave my condolences
EA stop doing this to PC players!!! If you want to advance your game, then why wouldn’t you showcase what it can do on a PC.
I have been building gaming PC’s since the early 90’s and have been a gamer my whole life!!!! {turn 50 this Aug}. I just don’t understand why you wouldn’t port the best version to the PC? I understand consoles are much bigger audience and so you focus designing your games on them but it really doesnt make any sense from a business perspective to give the people that pay top dollar to have rigs to run any game made in todays world a game that is made on hardware from 2013? Why would you do that and expect us to buy it.
I am ashamed at the people involved in this decision knowing that the team that has made Fifa has decided to upgrade Fifa on PC this year to the ps5/xbox x version makes me wonder even more why you didnt follow suit? As a madden fan from DAY 1 I can no longer accept you shunning the PC like you are.

That is just terrible, my pc runs better than a console in every single category but isn’t given the most updated form of the game. EA is an absolute s*** show. Goodluck losing all these pc players that have supported your game for so long

Piracy is the way, i didn’t buy NBA 2K22 but i played it why? because it’s last gen garbage and i won’t support such company.

I haven’t bought madden in years exactly because I’m not wasting my rtx 3070 ryzen 5800x on a last gen title which STILL manages to be extremely glitch, broken, and repetitive.
At this rate I’ll wait for EAs license to expire in 2026 and then buy the competitor’s product when there finally is competition.
This is absolutely ridiculous. EA, this is so disrespectful to the madden community who have been begging for the most up to date game on PC. There is literally no reason to not have that at this point. I have been loyal to the game for years, but at this point I am done. I cant imagine i am the only one.
