2017 will see the release of Metalhead Software’s Super Mega Baseball 2, the sequel to – you guessed it – Super Mega Baseball.
Super Mega Baseball was released in late 2014 to high acclaim, and Super Mega Baseball 2 looks to build on that success by adding several new features.
The features include:
- Revamped Graphics: Super Mega Baseball has been completely rebuilt, with enhanced character models, new and updated stadiums and a modernized interface. However, it will still maintain the character and spirit of the original.
- Player and League Customization: This one is fairly self-explanatory, but you can customize everything from a specific player’s stats, to creating an entirely new league. You can customize team badges and uniform, choose how many teams are in the league, and customize players’ stats and appearance.
- Offline Co-Op and PvP Play: You can play cooperative and head to head games online. Or, if you have friends, you can play couch co-op. When playing co-op, players will alternate batting/running each time at-bat, and pitching fielding every innings.
- Refined Gameplay: Super Mega Baseball had solid and intuitive controls, but its sequel will have more refined controls and a more realistic scale.
The Ego system will still be in place, allowing more experienced players a better challenge while easing newcomers into the game.
Super Mega Baseball will be available in 2017 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
