Electronic Arts are currently going through a structural change. Today, EA’s CEO Andrew Wilson, announced that EA Games would be remanded to EA Entertainment, which will be its own organization away from EA Sports. The changes come as an attempt to “empower creative leaders to drive growth”

EA Games to EA Entertainment

In a message sent out to EA employees today, Andrew Wilson announced that a restructuring of Electronic Arts is happening and that EA Games will be renamed to EA Entertainment. This change could mean the company is looking to venture out beyond just video games, but nothing has been confirmed just yet.

“Today, we are announcing the next step of our strategy by aligning our studios into two organizations that report to me — EA Entertainment and EA SPORTS.” Andrew Wilson Said.

“This evolution of our company continues to empower our studio leaders with more creative ownership and financial accountability to make faster and more insightful decisions around development and go-to-market strategies.”

In the case of EA Sports, many of its leading developers will stay and strictly work on sports games for the publisher. Developers like EA Tiburon and Vancouver will continue making games like Madden and EA Sports FC.

The Future of EA Entertainment

As I stated before, we are unsure what’s over the horizon for EA Entertainment, but it seems the Mass Effect publisher has other ideas for its licensed IPs. The message reminds fans and employees that EA’s most significant properties will have a major part in the company’s future.

“We’re building the future of interactive entertainment on a foundation of legendary franchises and innovative new experiences, which represents massive opportunities for growth.”

While much might not seem different on the surface, the publisher wants to focus on multiple avenues within the company. Ultimately, we will have to see what happens with the latest change at Electronic Arts; and hopefully, the company as a whole will benefit from it.

I’m making a decent compensation from home $60k/week , which was astonishing under a year prior I was jobless in a horrendous economy. I was honored with these guidelines and presently it’s my obligation sv07 to show kindness and share it with Everyone

Earning an extra $15,100 or more while working part-time online is a quick and easy method to generate money. I made $17,100 in my previous month of work by working in my spare time, and I am now quite happy as a consequence of this job.
