EA has already revealed information on new animations and improvements on the field thanks to Real Player Motion. These improvements include the new One-Cut evasive move. Special Teams, RPO and Coverage in Madden NFL 19
Most of the details are revealed in an interview. As we know. the Madden franchise was moved to the Frostbite engine. While considered a success, it has had some difficulty. Nonetheless, the studio is making use of the engine in exciting ways. Check out some of the highlights below regarding breakthroughs in gameplay as well as some exclusions.
- It has been speculated that Madden 19 will feature Run-Pass Option or RPO. This play won the Eagles the Super Bowl. Gameplay Designer, Clint Oldenburg, notes Madden 19 will not feature RPO for now.
- Madden NFL 19 will adhere to the new kickoff rules introduced late last month.
- Regarding defense, Oldenburg says that zone coverage is getting a boost while man coverage will likely be nerfed.
- Madden 19 will also feature much more precise positions. Instead of just WR1 and WR 2, you’ll have slot receivers, flankers, and other roles in the like.
