The game has been in development for over a year. No clear timetable for the game’s release has been given, other than the words “coming soon” at the end of the trailer. eSports Boxing Club will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC when it releases.
Touted as a “boxing simulation”, it will include a fully-featured career mode that will see players challenge for the Lord Lonsdale Belt, and work to becoming World Champion.
As far as who’s included in the game, not many names were announced. So far the two names announced are former WBC Heavyweight champion Frank Bruno and former light-welterweight champion Ricky Hatton, both British boxing legends.
The game will feature Paul Dempsey and Johnny Nelson as the commentary team. Craig Stephen, arguably the most well-known boxing ring announcer from Britain, will handle those duties in the game.
