It was only a few months ago that we got the damning news that Undisputed‘s career mode would be delayed. The game’s developer, Steel City Interactive, felt like the mode wasn’t up to the standard the studio had set. Now, with the delay of career mode, many fans have begun to wonder what progress has been made with one of the game’s most highly anticipated modes. Thankfully, Steel City Interactive has announced that career mode will be coming in its 7th update for the game, which launches on February 12. In addition, Undisputed will receive wholesale addition to enhance the player’s experience.
Undisputed: Career Mode and Character Customization
During the announcement video posted on Undiputed’s YouTube channel, Steel City revealed that career mode and character customization will be coming to the game’s 7th update. In addition, players can also customize existing fighters during the select screen. This is a feature that was highly requested by fans.
However, the biggest news to come out of this announcement video is that career mode is ready to go when the update comes out next month. You can check out our breakdown article for more on what you can expect from Unpisputed‘s career mode.
New Camera Angle and Gameplay Changes
In addition to the release of career mode and character customization, Steel City is implementing a new camera angle. The developers call this new angle the ‘over the shoulder’ camera, which brings a third-person view to the game.
Another gameplay change is ‘flat-footed movement,‘ which is caused when your fighter’s fatigue levels get below a certain level. Players must be wary of this new feature because it will drastically affect how their fighters maneuver around the ring.
Undisputed‘s 7th update will be out on February 12, which will include the launch of career mode, character customization, and gameplay changes.
