NHL 24 Patch 1.4
In a press release, EA shared its latest improvements to gameplay and even did a video on X showcasing the gameplay changes. In addition to the gameplay changes, the publisher is adding in new All-Star uniforms ahead of the All-Star festivities in the National Hockey League.
Below are some gameplay changes, but for a more in-depth look at everything coming to EA Sports’ hockey title, you can click here.
- Goalie X-Factors: ‘Light Work’, ‘Extra Padding’, ‘Whirlwind’, ‘Handled It’, and ‘Energizer’ X-factors have been updated to provide more choice when assigning Goalie X-Factor zone abilities.
- Goalie Size Balancing: ‘Save Reach’ has been scaled by the height of the goalie. Smaller goalies will receive less penalty, and larger goalies will receive higher penalty, when making far reaching saves. So players can now choose to play with their preferred goalies without goalie sizing being of concern.
- Goalie Save accuracy: Increased bonus is applied to the precision score when the user goalie is square to the puck and requires less reach to make a save, while increased penalty is applied to the precision score when the goalie is out of position and required to make far reaching saves.
- As we head into All-Star Weekend, this patch will feature the new All-Star uniforms. To learn more in detail about the improvements and changes coming to the game, you can find the full patch notes for 1.4.0 here, as well as below my signature. You can also see our patch notes video here.
