It has been a full week of Madden 24 ratings. We have seen record-breaking ratings as well as some headscratchers. Now, we are getting two more positions: Tight Ends and Cornerbacks. With this latest batch, we have another Madden NFL record.
Madden 24 Ratings for Tight Ends and Cornerbacks
Kelce Rated 99 Again
The latest member of the 99 Club is Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. This means Kelce now holds the record for most 99 Club appearances by a tight end. With Tyreek Hill being traded to the Dolphins, Kelce had the best year of his Hall of Fame career. Kelce set career highs in receptions (110) and touchdowns (12) while also putting up 1338 receiving yards. Kelce also put up over 250 yards and four touchdowns across the Chiefs three playoff games, helping lead the team to a Super Bowl title.
San Francisco 49ers star George Kittle comes in as the second-highest-rated tight end with a 96 OVR rating. Kittle only played in 15 games last year but was still able to pull in 11 receiving touchdowns, more than double his previous career high. Kittle will have a 88 speed rating along with 94 catching and 98 toughness.

Lockdown Specialists
The top-rated lockdown cornerback in Madden NFL 24 is new Miami Dolphins corner Jalen Ramsey. Ramsey spent last season with the Los Angeles Rams, where he accumulated 88 total tackles and 4 interceptions. Ramsey was traded in March to Miami for a third-round pick and tight end Hunter Long. Ramsey will have a 99 press rating and will lock down receivers with his 97 man coverage and 95 zone coverage ratings. Ramsey will be part of a duo of great corners in Miami alongside Xavien Howard, who has an 84 OVR rating.
The next highest corner is Green Bay Packers defensive back Jaire Alexander. Alexander has quickly become one of the best shutdown artists in the league. Last season, Alexander racked up 56 tackles and picked off 5 passes. Alexander will have 95 play recognition, 96 man coverage, and 96 zone coverage.
