Since 2010, Williams has been elite as a lineman and has improved in almost every facet of the game. He is an elite run and pass blocker. In the 2021 season, Williams only allowed 1 sack tied for 71st of the top 20% of Lineman. He is elite at protecting the QB. Williams has done this en route to 9 Pro-Bowl selections and 2 All-Pro selections in 2015 and 2021 respectively.
On March 23, 2021, Williams signed a six-year, $138.06 million contract extension with the 49ers, making him the highest-paid offensive lineman in the NFL.
