2K isn’t unfamiliar when teaming up with other companies to bring authenticity to its games. PGA Tour 2K23 is no exception. 2K’s latest golf game receives new courses and apparel from 100 Thieves and Barstool Sports just in time for the holiday season.

PGA Tour 2K23 Latest Update

Last month, 2K promised new content for PGA Tour 2K23. The content included new apparel, courses, and playable athletes—however, this latest update brings the beautiful Torrey Pines Golf Course to the game, complete with 36 holes. In addition, the CEO of 100 Thieves Mathew Haag will debut as a playable character in PGA Tour on December 15.

Barstool Sports will feature a new in-game event called “Barstool Break 90 Ladder Challenge”, featuring more branded gear and a challenging 18 holes of golf.

Finally, Greyson Clothier’s apparel will be making its way to PGA Tour 2K23. However, players can take advantage of a Dude Perfect-branded black hoodie, which is free this month.

PGA Tour Review

Still not sold on getting 2K’s newest golf game yet? Check out our SGO review of the game here. But before you go, here is a little snippet of what we think of the game.

PGA Tour 2K23 is a deep, yet conservative golf game. If Apple were to build a golf game, I contend 2K23 would be it. Efficient, beautiful, and clean design, yet fails to take risks outside of what it does best – siloed, simulation golf. It will need a few changes to reach greater heights. The gameplay, physics, and course design are its saving grace and balance out the game’s overall grade. HB Studios’ graphic artists have produced award-worthy golf landscapes. – Steven Montani.
