Cristiano Ronaldo Invests in EA Sports FC 24 Rival

It’s been a while since we reported on UFL. The last time we mentioned the game, the CEO of Strikerz Inc. told fans the game was coming out in late 2023. Unfortunately, we are at the tail end of 2023 and still don’t know when UFL will be released. However, on Tuesday, Strikerz Inc. broke the news that Al Nassr striker Cristiano Ronaldo has invested USD 40 million into the game.

Ronaldo’s Investment into UFL

On Tuesday, the UFL official X page announced that Ronaldo had invested 40 million dollars into the development of UFL. This isn’t the first time the Portuguese star has been involved with Strikerz Inc. During the game’s first official live stream, the developer announced that Ronaldo is an ambassador for the game.

Strikerz Inc. CEO Eugene Nashilov told the UFL fans that the ongoing conflict in Ukraine affected much of his development team. Ronaldo’s investment could help UFL stay on track for a release very soon and help the development team maintain talent after this tragedy. Overall, we will have to see what UFL has to offer once development wraps up, which is hopefully soon.

UFL quick rundown

UFL is an online football game that utilizes a FIFA Ultimate Team-like formula. You can purchase players and managers with the game’s in-game currency and play through ranked-based divisions. Unfortunately, the game won’t have offline modes at launch, but the game will add post-launch content for fans to enjoy.
